This feeder is feeding the first barrel of the Ko-Kneader; Complete gear pump system including separate controls; Combination pressure / temperature probe up/ and downstream the gear pump; Complete controls, relays logic. Last used in a Soap Pellet application.

Includes a discharge screw extruder, driven by an approximately 1.5 kw, 3/60/230/460 volt, 1710 rpm gear motor with 2 hole strand die. Includes an operators panel, a control panel with Eurotherm controllers, (2) ABB drive panels. 837 Hours used on the meter.

Center line height can be reduced approximately 8" by removing an additional base. Lufkin change gear gearbox is direct driven in a tuck under manner by a 150 HP Emerson DC motor with Control Technique Mentor II SCR control. Present reduction ratio is 13.89:1. Includes integral panel having fourteen (14) zones of temperature control. Dynisco model EH-35 screen changer with 3 HP hydraulic pack is mounted on the extruder discharge. Also includes 20 HP melt pump with controls.

Components include: PTI Model CPF-2000S crammer; Dynisco Model EH-60 screen changer; Gala Model 8.2 BF dryer; PTI Model CPF2000S pelletizer; 1750 RPM Flender Type SZNE 305 gearbox. 300 HP; 3/60/460V. Built 1999. Primarily ran HIPS, occasionally PP, HDPE, LDPE.

Rare opportunity to purchase an extruder of this size. Per Davis Standard the thrust bearing rating is actually 1,468,000 pounds or 665,874 kgs. Unit was miss tagged at the factory. Serial# AA454. Built 2001. Last used in the extrusion of PP sheet. SCR and temperature control panel not included.
